PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 11, the ultimate Pink Floyd treasure trove can be yours. 'The Early Years 1965-1972' is a whopping 27-disc box set collecting unreleased outtakes and demos, TV appearances, seven hours of concert recordings, performances, interviews, three feature films), over 20 unreleased songs, an updated version of their Zabriskie Point soundtrack and more. The collection charts their first seven years together and the era before their commercial breakthrough with 'Dark Side Of The Moon', NME said.

The band have shared a little teaser for the collection to whet your appetite even more. 'Green Is The Colour' was originally on 1969 album 'Soundtrack From The Film More', recorded just after founding member Syd Barrett left the group. Now, it has a new video, which includes atmospheric shots of wrecked boats on the beach, wind blowing through cornfields and live footage of the band performing in Saint Tropez in 1970.

As well as including some of the tracks from 'Soundtrack From The Film More', the box set will also include the film itself. Directed by Barbet Schroeder, the art-house movie follows German student Stefan as he hitchhikes to Ibiza, falls in love with an American girl and becomes addicted to heroin.

'The Early Years 1965-1972' is released on November 11. A cheaper version featuring two discs of material will be released on the same day.
