Mahindra XUV500 completes 5 years - Celebrates by offering discounts
Mahindra XUV500 has been a resounding success ever since it was launched five years ago in September 2011. This Sports Utility Vehicle, the recipient of a host of awards, has now reached a major milestone with sales crossing the 1.7 lakh unit mark in India thus adding one more feather in the Mahindra cap.
Celebrating its fith anniversary, Mahindra has announced a host of discounts on sale of new XUV500. Mahindra has said that they are offering discounts and benefits ranging from INR 22,000 to INR 66,000 with the purchase of new XUV500.
Mahindra XUV500 from Mamp;M has been regaled a large segment customers due to its design, performance, internal space and last but not the least affordable pricing. Priced in a range of INR 12.39 to 18.66 lakhs, XUV500 was launched in September 2011 in three variants and one diesel engine option. Today, the car is on offer with 17 variants and two diesel engine options (1.99 liter and 2.2 liter).

Besides achieving success in India, the XUV500 has also been well accepted in International markets such as South Africa, Europe, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Australia and Sri Lanka. Mahindra XUV500 has achieved as many as 25 awards in the past five years. These include SUV of the Year Award, Readers Choice Award and Best Value for Money Car Award. The XUV 500 has a fan following of 2.3 million on Facebook and over 10 million views on YouTube, which only denotes its acceptance by the younger and more adventurous buyers in the country.
Mahindra XUV500 has managed to separate itself from the crowd, thanks to the stylish design and best in class road presence. Soon, Mahindra XUV500 will be facing its toughest test - the Tata Hexa. It will be interesting to watch their sales performance in 2017.
