Offenbachers files for bankruptcy, closing all 8 stores
Offenbachers, a Lanham-based patio furniture chain, is going out of business after 44 years.
The retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Monday and announced wind-down efforts Wednesday for all eight of its stores. The shutdown comes two years after Baltimore private equity firm Antson Capital Partners LLC acquired Offenbachers, with board members touting the company as "a great industry, a great brand."
