Costco's longtime corporate controller steps down
David Petterson has stepped down as senior vice president ' corporate controller and principal accounting officer of Costco Wholesale.
Petterson, 71, has been with Costco (Nasdaq: COST) for more than 27 years, including 22 years in his most recent role.
"He was always a pleasure to work with," Chief Financial Officer Richard Galanti said in an interview. "He's passing the torch to Dan Hines who's also been here a long time. He's leaving the accounting department in very good shape."
