Hawaii Public Radio will complete its East Hawaii transmitter project on Wednesday when it launches its HPR-2 channel on KAHU 91.3.FM on the east side of the Big Island.
The Federal Communications Commission gave its final approval for the project on Friday, the last day of the station's fall on-air pledge drive.
