Software and heath care startups may dominate the charts when it comes to many venture capital deals recorded, but in Central Florida, one firm stood out and it has nothing to do with technology.
Windermere-based Vintage Italia, maker of Pasta Chips, was one of the 18 Florida companies that landed a deal, according to the third-quarter venture capital report from PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association based on data from Thomson Reuters.
