No 'spending sprees' in Sprint's future
Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure said the company's improving financial picture doesn't mean there are plans for big spending in the near future. But it's still good news in the wireless carrier's hometown, because it also means there are no more plans for big layoffs either.
'I think we're done with those,' Claure said Tuesday. 'There is nothing in our sight to say we're going to do a big round of layoffs in the Kansas City area.'
