Tech company GovDelivery will merge with Granicus, a maker of software for government agencies, the companies announced Tuesday.
Austin, Texas-based private equity firm Vista Equity Partners has owned Granicus since August and bought GovDelivery for $153 million last month.
Granicus makes software government agencies use to manage tasks like generating meeting agendas and tracking legislation. GovDelivery sells products governments use to communicate with the public.
