NEW YORK, U.S. - On Monday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump launched a nightly Facebook Live broadcast to reach out to voters on a daily basis.

For a while now, experts have suspected that Trump would establish a broadcast company if he fails to win the presidential election.

The candidate's campaign is said to have sent emails to all its supporters a little before 6:30 PM ET, informing them about “Trump Tower Live” which was described in the email as “nightly campaign coverage from Trump Tower.”

The broadcast is being hosted by advisors Cliff Sims and Boris Epshteyn. It will also feature Tomi Lahren, commentator of “The Blaze” as the co-host on the broadcast. The broadcast also features campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and advisor Jason Miller.

Within 20 seconds of the broadcast initiating on day 1, Sims stated, “You don’t have to take it through the media filter and all the spin they put on it, You can hear it from us directly.”

Epshteyn supported Sims by saying, “The left-wing media is even trying to spin this,.This is our campaign and, most importantly, our candidate being out there and speaking directly to the voters, directly to the viewers.”

The broadcast did take intermissions and to keep the audience entertained, debate clips were played.

Later on, with a link to donate to his campaign, Trump wrote on Facebook, “This is a HISTORIC movement. Together, we will once again make a government by, for, and of the people. Help us close out the final weeks of this campaign strong and WIN.”

Two hours after the show started, it had about 1.1 million views on Facebook.

The success of the show also prompted many experts to dig a little deeper into Trump’s intentions to set up a full fledged broadcasting channel in the face of a White House defeat.

According to a report in the Financial Times, Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner had contacted LionTree’s Aryeh Bourkoff a few months ago to launch a potential broadcasting show called “Trump TV.” Jared Kushner has since denied the claim.

Meanwhile, the show is set to broadcast everyday at 6 PM ET until November 9.
