MINNESOTA, U.S. - As the world gets its spook on, Target was dealing with another spook sounded by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The American retailer is said to have recalled about 127,000 of its Halloween window decorations after a possible choking hazard was pointed out.

The decorations recalled by Target were LED gel window clings as they were said to be hazardous for children.

The clings, designed to come apart could expose the inner decal and LED/button battery compartment, according to a notice posted by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The notice said that if a child got his hands on the button and tried swallowing it, it could lead to choking.

A total of six categories of clings, each costing $1 were up for sale since August this year until September and have now been recalled by Target.

The recalled products, listed with the model code 234-25-0904, included a green skeleton, a pink skeleton, a purple spider, a black cat, an orange pumpkin, and a black bat, according to CPSC.

Fortunately for Target and consumers, no such hazard has been reported so far.

According to CPSC, consumers who purchased the cling can return the cling to Target for a complete refund.
