PCL Construction Introduces Revolutionary Revit Add-in: PCL PartsLab

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - October 21, 2016) - PCL Construction is pleased to offer PCL PartsLab, a new, free Autodesk Revit add-in that will revolutionize the way the construction industry creates and manages construction documentation, turning hours of work into minutes.

Over the last 10 years the medium for creating construction documentation in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries has transitioned from two-dimensional blueprints to three-dimensional Building Information Models (BIMs). Currently, these models that are produced by design teams are re-created by the construction team to reflect means and methods for construction, and to produce documentation for field staff. PCL PartsLab streamlines the flow of information between these two groups for a more collaborative environment.

Before PCL PartsLab, the parts created by Revit Parts had to be created and managed manually.
