How Reebok is using 3-D printing to bring sneaker-making back to the U.S.

The standard thinking for American shoe manufacturers is that those products have to be made by the millions outside the U.S. and then shipped back to be sold to consumers.

But Adidas-owned Reebok, which is based in Canton, Massachusetts, is turning that thinking on its head with a new method that uses 3-D printing techniques to produce its sneakers in America.
