One arrested after gardai conduct raids across three counties

DUBLIN, Ireland - As part of gardai’s Operation Thor, six searches were conducted across three counties, Kildare, Carlow and Dublin.

Gardai are said to have seized drugs and have detained a 31-year-old man under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. 

Gardai said that the raids were conducted based on an intelligence tip-off and that small quantities of illegal drugs were seized in all the six raids.  

According to reports, with the latest arrest, the number of people detained under gardai’s Operation Thor this week, rose to 36. 

Gardai said that the operation was aimed at crime prevention and enforcement and ended successfully. 

Gardai have also urged the public to report suspicious activities to local garda stations.
