Emerald Aerospace scales back operations

Emerald Aerospace, after starting operations earlier this year at the Air Capital Flight Line, is scaling back.

The aircraft modifications company has left 200,000 square feet of hangar space at the former Boeing modification center and a spokesman wouldn't say how many employees remain with the company, according to a Wichita Eagle report.

Spokesman Larry Pope says the company remains in business and is establishing other operations.
