Dell wins $30M settlement from EMC rival in patent fight
A chief rival of EMC Corp. has agreed to pay Dell Technologies $30 million to settle legal disputes between EMC and the company that started years before the Dell-EMC merger.
The settlement agreement puts an end to a flurry of claims between EMC and Pure Storage (NYSE: PTSG), a California-based data storage company, related to Pure Storage's hiring of more than 40 EMC employees.
