Airbus has delivered its first A320neo equipped with fuel-efficient CFM engines to a U.S. airline, a symbolic intrusion into rival Boeing's American backyard.
The European jet maker delivered the A320neo (new engine option) to Denver-based Frontier Airlines, a low-cost carrier.
Barry Biffle, Frontier Airlines president and CEO, said the carrier was excited to get its new aircraft.
