Biotech executive joins Boeing's board of directors
Robert Bradway, the CEO of biotechnology company Amgen, has been elected to the Boeing Co.'s board of directors.
That will give Bradway a role in decisions that will impact Wichita, where Spirit AeroSystems Inc. and its local supply base are a vital cog in Boeing's manufacturing operations.
Boeing (NYSE: BA) says in a press release that Bradway will also serve on the board's audit and finance committees.
Bradway joined California-based Amgen in 2006 and became CEO in 2012.
