Google takes on Uber, Lyft in the San Francisco Bay Area
Google has launched its Bay Area ride-sharing service and is now accepting riders and drivers via its Waze Rider app, as competition in the innovative transportation sector heats up.
"For now, Google is limiting drivers and riders to two rides a day'intended to be to and from work'and made it cheap, restricting drivers from making a living on the app," the Wall Street Journal reports."Such measures also could be designed to avoid regulatory scrutiny."
