Don't expect significant interest rate hikes for the foreseeable future, the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago said Wednesday in St. Louis.
'We will likely be in a low interest rate environment for some time, which leaves monetary policymakers with less room to navigate future downs shocks should they occur,' Charles Evans said in remarks at the Community Banking Research Conference at the St. Louis Fed.
