Louisville company lands national buyer
Nationwide Insurance has agreed to buy Louisville-based Jefferson National and absorb its large network of registered investment and other fee-based advisers.
The deal will allow the Columbus, Ohio-based insurer to greatly expand its sales reach in the domestic financial-services market, according to a news release from Nationwide.
