With Tampa Bay becoming known as a hub for breweries, we decided to take a look at where the local beer drinkers live.
The highest beer-drinking rate is in a South Tampa ZIP code. Residents of 33609, which includes parts of Westshore and extends through Howard Avenue in Tampa, reported 50.9 percent of people there had consumed beer within the last six months.
A close second is 33704 in the Old Northeast area of St. Petersburg, where the rate is 50.6 percent.
