Insurance giant buys control of South Beach hotel for $56M

An affiliate of Prudential Insurance Co. of America acquired control of the Boulan South Beach hotel for $56.3 million, although the deal didn't include its hotel condo units.

Parc Place Development, managed by real estate investor Bert E.
