New Kroger to be considered by city commission
The Springfield city commission will discuss Tuesday a potential new $20 million Kroger.
The retailer has proposed constructing the new 123,500-square-foot Kroger Marketplace south of Springfield along Route 72, about one and a half miles south of Interstate 70 exit 54.
The city commission will hold a public hearing Tuesday night on a plan to annex a little under 100 acres, now in Springfield Township, which includes the land where the proposed Kroger would be built.
