Anheuser-Busch donated $25,000 to The Backstoppers in recognition of Global Beer Responsible Day on Sept 16.
Backstoppers provides financial assistance and support to families of first responders who have lost their lives or suffered catastrophic injury while performing their duties.
In addition, A-B matched the amount ' $14,000 ' raised by its employees and Backstoppers volunteers who collected donations from fans outside Busch Stadium during the Cardinals-Cubs series in mid-September.
