Construction: Loeb to renovate East Memphis shopping center
A Poplar Avenue retail center located across from East High School is getting a makeover.
The Shops at Chickasaw Gardens, located at 3181 Poplar Ave. will be repainted, according to Ciara Neill, director of marketing for Loeb Properties Inc.
In addition, the height of each retail bay will be increased by two to four feet, and new awnings and canopies will also be added.
