Army continues operations against Takfiri terrorists, inflicts heavy losses upon them

Provinces, SANA- Army units on Sunday launched more military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, killing scores of their members and destroying their arms and equipment.

Daraa

Army units destroyed dens, vehicles and gatherings of terrorist organizations in Daraa al-Balad and al-Mahatta neighborhood in the southern Daraa province.

A military source told SANA that an army unit killed all members of a terrorist group in a special operation to the south of Busra Square and targeted gatherings of terrorists and their vehicles in al-Talaibeh Square and to southwest of the fourth intersection in Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhood.

The source added that an army unit destroyed two hideouts for the terrorists in al-Kark neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.

Sweida

An army unit destroyed an oil tanker truck for ISIS terrorists in Mashbak al-Wedian area east of Shaaf in the eastern countryside of Sweida province.

Quneitra

Army units destroyed a number of vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machineguns, for terrorist groups and killed a number of their members during accurate strikes on their gatherings in al-Hamidiah village in the northern countryside of Quneitra, according to a military source.

SANA reporter pointed out that an army unit carried out strikes on the dens and sites of terrorist group in al-Hamidiah village, killing more than 15 terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Homs

Army and Armed Forces units thwarted an attack by terrorists from ISIS coming from Unq al-Hawa and Rahoum villages in the direction of Jub al-Jarah town in the eastern countryside of Homs, killing and injuring many terrorists, a military source told SANA.

The source added that an army unit killed a number of terrorists from ISIS and injured others east of al-Qaryatain town in Homs' southeastern countryside.

In the province's northern countryside, the army targeted gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Oum Sharshouh village, Abu al-Enz farms, Ein Hussein al-Janoubi, and al-Zafarana in Talbiseh area, killing and injuring many terrorists and inflicting heavy losses in equipment and munitions upon them.

Later, a military source said that the Syrian Air Force destroyed bases and vehicles for ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the surroundings of Shaer field, Ein Hussein, al-Rastan, Talbiseh, Tal al-Sawwan, and al-Zafarana in Homs countryside.

Hama

A military source said that the Syrian Air Force destroyed bases for terrorist organizaitons and eliminated a number of terrorists in Morek, Maardas, Souran, and Tibet al-Imam in Hama countryside.

Damascus Countryside

A military source told SANA that the Syrian Air Force eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed their fortified positions and vehicles in Hosh al-Abbasiyeen east of Khan al-Sheeh in Damascus Countryside.
