How Google welcomed tomorrow's star engineers and coders into its fold
An army of future tech leaders received an earful on coding earlier this week.
The lessons were delivered by some of the cream of the tech crop: engineers at Google, who hosted a visit from the Boys Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area.
The visit was arranged after President Obama's most recent call for educators to stress curricula that center on science, technology, engineering and math. The STEM categories are projected to comprise 51 percent of all computer science jobs by 2018.
