Android Nougat 'about to drop on Samsung's Galaxy S7'

The new OS dropped around a month ago onto Nexus devices, but the rest of the community are still waiting for their turn. With so many different smartphones operating under the Android umbrella, this understandably takes a long time to test and ensure stability, Digital Spy said.

If you're a Samsung owner and you're losing the will to remain Team Android, though, don't lose faith. It appears the company is making progress with the upcoming rollout, with dedicated blog SamMobile indicating the company has begun testing the latest version of the operating system for the Galaxy S7, Digital Spy said.

The report claims software version G930FXXU1ZPI9 is being tested internally by Sammy's European branch in Poland.
