Here's the first Arizona company to use equity crowdfunding
The first Arizona equity crowdfunding project is on the market.
NewSleep.com, an e-commerce mattress retailer, is looking to raise $600,000 this year in increments of $2,000 from each of 300 investors through the Arizona Small Business Association investment portal, FundMyBusinessAZ.com.
This is both the first investment opportunity and the first registered investment portal to operate since the state's equity crowdfunding law went into effect last year.
