Here's when the Dell-EMC merger will be finalized
Hopkinton-based EMC Corp. will officially become a part of Texas-based Dell Inc. on Sept. 7 and stop trading on the New York Stock Exchange, the two companies announced in a release on Wednesday.
The $60 billion merger represents the biggest acquisition deal in tech history, and the combined company will officially be known as Dell Technologies on that date.
