Lyft partnership taps into widely underserved seniors' market
Lyft is on a collaborative streak, expanding its partnership base this week to include GreatCall, a San Diego-based company.
Together, the two will work to bring the convenience of app-based ride-hailing to the elderly.
Dubbed GreatCall Rides, the program blends the backend software and logistical expertise of Lyft and GreatCall's experience with the target demographic. From now on Lyft rides will be accessible via telephone using GreatCall Personal Operator Services.
