Houston-based energy company's CFO to retire
Houston-based Adams Resources Energy Inc. (AMEX: AE) announced its CFO is stepping down.
Richard Abshire, CFO, treasurer and executive vice president, is retiring effective Aug. 31, according to a news release. Sharon Davis is expected to act as interim CFO. Davis currently is the company's executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief accounting officer.
Abshire plans to advise the company as a consultant for the next few months during the transition period, per the release.
