Deceased CEO's multi-million-dollar wine collection to be auctioned
A collection of more than 4,600 bottles of wine that belonged to the late owner of an Oklahoma oil and gas company who was also part owner of the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA basketball team will be put up for auction Sept. 17 on Chicago's Gold Coast.
The massive wine collection of Aubrey McClendon, the former Chesapeake Energy Corp. CEO who died in an accidental vehicle crash March 2, will be auctioned beginning at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 17 at Tru restaurant, the Chicago Tribune reported.
