Developer buys $8.5M site to grow Venetian Bay community
Palms Land Holdings LLC bought a bank-owned 700-acre residential development site in New Smyrna Beach for $8.5 million to grow the roughly 1,400-acre Venetian Bay community even more.
The site ' a planned future phase of the master planned community in Volusia County ' is on the northwest corner of State Road 44 and Airport Road, near one of Venetian Bay's entrances. The site has entitlements that could allow more than 1,000 residential units to be developed.
