Defiant Bicycles lands cash for electric fat-tire bikes
Defiant Bicycles has closed on a round of funding as it prepares to expand marketing and distribution of its fat-tire, motorized bikes.
St. Paul-based Defiant brought in about $200,000 from individual investors. A return investor and fresh backers participated in the round of funding, which will go toward building inventory, marketing and research and development, company co-founder Kevin Spreng said.
