Britain's June vote to leave the European Union (EU) sent waves around the world. The UK economy took a hit and the British pound fell to its lowest level since 1985. Some six weeks after the vote and with a new government, Britain has yet to invoke the 'Article 50' provision of the Treaty on European Union that will trigger exit negotiations.
