Boeing's new boss in South Carolina has waded into the presidential election campaign. Kinda. Sorta.

A report in The Charleston Post and Courier chronicles the careful speech that Joan Robinson-Berry, a Boeing vice president and general manager of its South Carolina operations, delivered during a keynote at the state's annual aerospace conference.

The newspaper said the Boeing (NYSE: BA) executive didn't openly endorse either Democrat Hillary Clinton or Republican Donald Trump.
