Raid leads to four arrests, seizure of drugs in Meath

DUBLIN, Ireland - In a planned raid conducted by the gardai in Bellewstown, Co Meath, a haul of drugs with an estimated street value of 500,000 euros was seized. 

Gardai are said to have seized heroin, ecstasy and cannabis during the raid and have arrested three men and a woman as part of the operation. 

Further, they also found 70,000 euro in cash, mixing agents and other drugs paraphernalia and arrested two men for investigation. 

The men are reportedly being detained under section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at the Kells Garda station.

In another operation, gardai searched four houses in Dublin in a bid to nab organised criminals in the south inner city. 

As part of this operation, gardai seized a substantial sum of money and heroin worth 3,000 euros.

Gardai also recovered stolen property including a 15,000 euro watch, an Audi A3 car and jewellery with 30,000 euros and arrested a man and a woman. 

Gardai are investigating the cases and have said that the seized documents will be sent in for forensic examination.
