T-Mobile hang-up in Lee's Summit prompts lawsuit

T-Mobile Central LLC is asking the federal court in Missouri to force Lee's Summit to reverse its decision to deny permits to build a new cell tower on a vacant lot.

T-Mobile noticed a gap in its wireless network coverage in western Lee's Summit and sought to construct a cell tower at 244 NW Executive Way, a vacant lot surrounded by mature trees in an office park off U.S. Highway 50.
